I don't think you have to reinstall ... but I'm not sure since I've only 
installed while being a member of the Admin group. Believe me, you 
wouldn't like all the registry "work" involved in completely removing a 
previous install of Oracle (the Universal Installer isn't very universal 
in its uninstall phase).

Perhaps another member of the ng has tried a non-admin install and can 
answer your question.
