Hello.

I'm using 8.0.3 EE and need to load data into a table using Sqlldr80.exe.
If I use the (new) CBO I need to update the stats after the load has
finished using "Analyze". Is this correct? Is there a faster way to keep the
stats up to date?

I also remove all the data from the tables when finished a few queries on
the loaded data. Should I also remove the stats then?

At the moment I'm still using the RBO so there is no need for stats.

Isn't it faster to stick with RBO in this case?

TIA
Thorsten
