You can't move it across. A higher version exp is not going to work,

and Oracle 7.2 has been desupported in the previous century.
You have hit the exact reason to upgrade in a timely manner.
You are probably completely stuck now, but given the fact 7.2 was
desupported more than 5 years ago, that isn't surprising. You need to dump your database in ASCII files, one per table, and use 8.1.7 Sql*loader to get your data in.
