As most people would agree --- Red Hat and SuSE are the most commonly 
used linux distributions, for Oracle Installations.  Being a Red Hat 
fan, I was very surprised to see Oracle 9.2.0 installed flawleslly on 
SuSE 8.0.  Good luck to you.
