Hi NG,

I want to serve employees, wich are working outside our house and have no online connection, with datas from our oracle 8.1.7 database. The ERP system we are using is round about 1000 tables. These guys are only needing 20 tables. I don't want to buy for each person a Personal Editon. I could use an Access Database for them (they want only VIEW datas. No Writing !!!), but if I would do I have to rewrite all my SQL Statements. I am searching something from Oracle like the DBEngine from MS where you have e.g. a full SQL Server 2000 for free. I would write then a script where each night the datas wich have changed since the lust sync run are copied to the notebooks with this engine. So I dont't have to make different versions of my program. They could use it inhouse against our live database or outside against there engine. Hope you understand my problem :-)

Thanks
