Oracle9i RAC + Linux

Hello.

I would like to take a look on Oracle9i RAC but don't have a SAN, neither have the money to buy me Shared-SCSI. And after hearing that it is not possible to mount RAW-Devices over NFS, the next step would be using the Network Block Device NBD) option, because NBD could mount RAW-Devices?

Is here anybody that tried to install Oracle9i RAC on Linux using Network Block Devices?

I'am thankfull for any hints / comments.
