About 3+ years for junior or generic positions and 5+ (sometimes 7+) for a senior ones.

That can be really difficult. However, it heavily depends on country (area) you're living in.

P.S. From my experience, DBA certification is not very useful for getting a job in this area. In fact for me are *much* more important real world experiences than any certification. Maybe this is for you too sad, but true.
