Hi All,

Thanks for everyone's help.

I don't think I got attack.

Forget about the cronjob now,
this morning,
this machine 's "load" went up to 200.
It is VERY RIDICULOUS.

I do "vmstat" and find out
it is paging out a lot.

I think this small E420R has 940 oracle processes is really maxing out the capacity of the machine.

I do "talk" to a good friend, he know Oracle quite well on the phone when it happens.
Both he and me draw to the conclusion of this machine just can't keep up with all the request.

Actually, those SQL statement is very short select, and every 8 request ,1 is a delete .
