Also look at ptlasst. There are a ton of parameters for it, but I just rant he ones that dealt with the web server hostnames and port numbers.

I had to run that to get Portal to work correctly. Also, I had problems with the SSO server having the wrong port numbers. Check the portal configuration on your SSO server and see what's there.
