Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Re: Agent Configuration Assistant fails on installation
I've repeated the installation many times, always the same error. I've
even tried running the command manually after installation. Still the
same thing:
--<snip>--
[oracle_at_chfiv103 bin]$ /opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/JRE/bin/jre -classpath
/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/JRE/lib/rt.jar:/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/jlib/srvm.jar:/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/network/agent/agentca.jar
oracle.agent.AgentCA /orahome /opt/oracle/product/9.2.0 /nodeinfo NO_VALUE
Parameter "orahome" = /opt/oracle/product/9.2.0 Parameter "nodeinfo" = NO_VALUE
Agent Service Failed
[oracle_at_chfiv103 bin]$
--</snip>--
This thing must be a network related thing, right? -sigh- If I just knew where to get more info... What does the Agent Service actually do?
All help appreciated,
Peter
