grants

Hi everybody
Anybody knows why if a run this script Nothing happends:

GRANT SELECT ANY TABLE,INSERT ANY TABLE,UPDATE ANY TABLE TO USER WITH ADMIN OPTION; the user after this modification still without the rigths to update ,

but to select and insert there's no problem
