Problems calling Portal30 chart servlet from HTML

Hi,

I'd like to use the chart servlet supplied with Portal30 to render graphical charts.

Within Portal I don't have any problems. However, if I try to call the servlet from my own HTML/Web-PL/SQL I have no guarantee that the chart will actually appear - on some of my sessions it does and on others it does not - I'm just left with an image holder.

My image tags generally look like:

src="/servlet/chart?mdata=http%3F%3Fmymachine%3Fpls%3Fportal30%3Fmyschema .myhtpxmlroutine">

Has anyone experienced these problems and resolved them?

Is there any documentation available for this chart servlet?
