Hi all,

With lotsa friends' help here, I 've almost put Oracle 8i down on my RedHat box. I can start *oemapp* without any problem. But I still cannot start Oracle Management Server. There's something wrong with the configuration file. But I just don't know which configuration file OMS uses. Please read the following lines:

[oracle_at_svr1 oracle]$ oemctrl start oms

OEMCTRL for Linux: Version 2.2.0.0.0
Copyright (c) 1998, 2000, Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved. Starting the Oracle Management Server... Could not connect to the OMS: possible error in the configuration file. Terminated
[oracle_at_svr1 oracle]$
