Did you install the interoperability patches as well? They came on a separate CD.

Currently you simply cannot change hostname/IP. This was never supported in any release of WAS/OAS/IAS but could be made to work. Now it temporarily does not work - just think before you install.

Cloning an installation has never been supported.

Do you have a bug number please? Did you get a workaround?

Furthermore: complaining here does not help. Please log enhancement requests at http://ers.oracle.com and tell your account manager what you don't like about the product.

If Oracle Support is not helping you as good as you would like them to, please tell them. Use the Feedback button on Metalink. Include the TAR numbers you did not get a reply as wished so a support manager can look into the issue - but I hope you were more friendly in your TARs than you appear to be here ;-)
