create file system (vxfs(.. create qio file.. (superfast) add it to
tablespace.. (probable same speed as craete datafile.. takes about a
min+ for 1GB).
the bitch about qiofiles, they cannot be resized downwards.

Never experience SGA's beyond 4 GB's, which was/is possible w/ some recompile of oracle.

I don't remember what we paid for their license, but support isn't
that expensive. Their support is actually more helpful than any other
(i also deal w/ oracle and sun).
