Ratio of .NET to J2EE so far in terms of short to medium term plans? About 10 to 1.
How's that for "J2EE, the platform of the future"?
Customers are not blind. Replacing one layer of expensive "expertise" with another is not cost-effective nor was it ever such. The darn thing is only effective in a very narrow market, it was never intended to be a horizontal architecture.
