NTFS itself has changed between NT and W2K. There are some very fundamental differences on how it allocates and references files. This was done mostly for the benefit of sql server and to properly support quotas, but of course it also affects Oracle. So, I'd be vewy reluctant in moving files between the two. One never knows with M$...
