install 8.1.7 on Red Hat Linux 7

Hi !

I try to install 8.1.7 on a Red Hat Linux machine, but the installer does not even start !

After a few enquiries I found out that Oracle certify only version 7.1 (I tried first with RH 7.3)

So I downloaded this distribution, but now : does anyone have an installation procedure of RH7.1 and Ora 8.1.7 ???

(I did it zillions times successfully on HP-UX, Solarix, AIX, WinwinNT4/2000, but for Linux it's @ù*!§ boring ! :-)
