Job submitted with DBMS_JOB wont run

Hi,

I submitted a job via DBMS_JOB.SUBMIT. This was accepted and I can see the job in USER_JOBS view.
But the job never starts (the last date is always null).

The parameters seem to be OK:
job_queue_interval=60
job_queue_processes=4

I can even see the snp processes when issuing a 'ps' command, but nothing happens.

The database is 8.1.7 running on Suse Linux 7.2.

What is wrong?
