(I am looking at ORACLE 8I certification. )



"Share locks prevent other exclusive locks".

But:


"Row Share (RS)



This lock prevents other sessions from acquiring another RS or ... on
the rows affected."



I can't understand why RS can't be compatible with RS on the same rows.
Someone can explain it to me?
