Is there some sort of metaphor or analogy we can devise to match the sheer stupidity of these questions?

Something along the lines of:

"I need to carry 3 tons of rubbish off my driveway. Should I buy a Chevy 3-ton truck or a Taurus? Does anybody know the petrol consumption of both when going uphill on a dry day with wind coming from SSE? Given your experience, what would be the residual value be for each solution? Plese help. "

or something equally moronic along these lines? Any takers to refine this "standard" reply?
