Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Re: Single Sign On with web deployed forms
OK, so the question which remains unclear is whether or not the db server (running on HP-UX) will be
able to authenticate with ADS. This would give the users a true single sign-on capability. Perhaps
this could be accomplished by using an OID synchronized with ADS and passing the desktop's credentials.
The trick is how to pass the credentials to the forms running in an applet on the desktop, since, if I
understand correctly, the applet runs in a process that may not be accessible from other processes.
Any thoughts or ideas on how to accomplish this?
Thanks
Joel
