OEM Import fails

Oracle 9.0.1.1, Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP2.

I am setting up an OEM job to import the live database into the test instance. There are 3 tasks:

SQL*Plus script to drop and recreate the user to which the databse objects belong.
Import the dump file from the live database.
SQL*Plus script to modify some table rows to indicate that we are in the test environment.

The problem is that the first script runs fine, but the import returns the following error:

IMP-00004: invalid username or password
Username:
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully child process exited abnormally
nms-915: Le travail a échoué, code d'erreur=

The last bit is in French because we're in Switzerland

The credentials for the database are correct, and if I remove the first script, and run it as a separate job, the import (now the first task) runs perfectly.

Is this a known bug, or is there a reason why an import cannot run as the second task in a job? I definitely want to remove all objects in the schema before importing, and as far as I can see there is no option in Import to do that for me.
