Nuno,

Running Win2K SP2, Pentium II 450 512M RAM. 9.0.1.0.1 client install.

I can reproduce the problem when connecting to the following database versions with 'sqlplusw':

- 9.0.1.2 (32 & 64 bit)
- 8.1.7.2
- 8.0.6
- 7.3.4

Also reproduced the problem on an XP box (PIII) with the 9.0.1.0.1 client installed connecting to a 8.1.7.2 database. I didn't have time to try the other versions.
