Migration from 8i-db to 9i on another server?

Hi,

I've got a production 8i-database on sparc-solaris which should be changed to a better station within oracle-9i. The old database is running without archiving and backuped once a night on the cold way, -but not every night, even if there is no user staying on that database.

So, what do you think is the best way to manage this without installing once the one version on the other?
