Unixes are not filesystem compatible. It is pretty useless to even try the
Linux version on Solaris for Intel: It won't work.
As far as Oracle is concerned Solaris for Intel is a dead platform, 8.1.7 is
the last version for this O/S
You can still order it from the Oracle Store, but you might want to
reconsider your options.
That all said: please do not cross or multipost. You won't get a bigger audience, nor better responses, you will waste bandwith and people's time.
