Oracle 7 is fully desupported and most likely it will not run on your
new fast computer at all, becaus your computer runs win2k and Oracle 7
is not certified for that platform.
Oracle being downward compatible, you should be able to upgrade the
database to 9i, and continue to run your Oracle 7 software against the
Oracle 9i database. Apart from purchasing a new version of the canned
software this is the only viable solution.
