Re: MS Access 2000 with Oracle 8i

Hi,

as Oracle and Access are two totally different animals, I would suggest to migrate your Application manually:

• reverse engineer the existing database
• Write the appropriate CREATE TABE etc Statements by hand. In fact this will incorporate some redesign, because you will have to decide how to map datatypes, triggers, RI etc
• build your schema inside Oracle
• migrate your data
