You can do that. My preference, though, is to only configure the
kernel to run Oracle when the system is fully up.
If, for some reason, the system falls over on startup because of a lack of memory, you would have to jump through some hoops to remove the extra configuration. This way, you'll have a fallback position, to either level 1 or 2.
