hi,



i have installed Oracle 8.1.7. on W2k Adv.Srv, SP2



Applying the patch 8.1.7.2.1 terminated in an error :    ....ociw32.dll
could not be written...



oracle_home\...\bin\ociw32.dll  does exist, but cannot be deleted even not
after stopping all


oracle services.



After rebooting into safe mode i was able to delete this dll !




Whats up with that ?
