You asked if there are any other ideas. May be the version of Oracle? 8.1.7.1 includes fixes for Active Directory autentication. I'm exactly using 8.1.7.1.1 and can use the "īnternal" account from a DBA Studio client, did not try "/ as sysdba" but is even better. Of course the client PC is connected to the network and logged in to the Active Directory domain and indirectly membet of the ora_bda group in the local domain from the Oracle database server.
