But I unless I'm mistaken it's saying that I ran out of Hard drive space...which isn't true...because there's at least another 1.4GB left.

I've inserted the log file. Incase I've make a mistake.

As to manuals: I actually only went through the manuals that were availabe on the Oracle Website - Admin, install etc. I didn't find it extremely useful. So I decided to go buy a book, and sadly the book doesn't cover any of the alert log stuff.

So there is no way to recover this database now? Or is the tablespace all dead?
