Dear all,
just to confirme if I got the concept.
I set up Oracle Names server with Connection Manager and connection concentratation, runs fine. Clients can connect to the database Server. In the Net8 Admin guide I found that you also can enable Connection Manager with local naming. Configured one client accordingly, can access the db server without problems.
I have trouble to imagine a real world scenario where one needs connection concentration in conjunction with local naming. I think, if there are so many concurrent connection requests, it is most likely that connections are made via host naming or Oracle Names (for the sake of administrative burden, let aside LDAP for the moment). Maybe there is some use if you want to set up Net8 Acces Control or must deal with multiple protocol support.

Any suggestions are welcome
TIA
