We do. Each instance supports 3 - 5 different applications, each in
it's own schema. Been working this way for several years. We are in
the process now of moving toward 1 application per instance because of
issues with recovery one application causing preformance issues for
other applications in the same instance. We will probably end up
somewhere in the middle with the less well behaved appliocations in
there own instances and some applications sharing instances.
