Hi

I have a problem when trying to install Oracle 9i on a Windows 2000 server (with service pack 2)
The following is selected in the installer dialog:

  1. Oracle9i Database 9.0.1.1.1
  2. Enterprise Edition (1.76GB)
  3. General Purpose

After this the installation program hangs indicating 85% in the progress indicator (the text above the progress indicator is "Processing Oracle Database Configuration Assist...").

The CPU usage in the task manager is 0% and nothing happens (nothing has happend after a whole day) and no error messsages are shown.

I'll appreciate hints here...

Best regards
