9i RAC and Shared Server Mode vs. Dedicated Server Mode

I believe I read somewhere that when using RAC, the database should be
operated in Shared Server Mode (multi-threaded) as opposed to
Dedicated Server Mode.



Is this true even when I know that I will NOT have a large number of
users connected simultaneously?
