Thanks for the reply. I did exactly as stated (I had to shut down the
instance service in Windows to gain access to the PWD file), and got
these errors when trying to connect:
SQL> connect sys/grapes2wine as sysdba
ERROR: ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
SQL> connect internal/grapes2wine
ERROR: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
