Hi there,

One of our clients has Oracle 7.3.2.x, and wants me to change the character-set.
He thinks it's easy as 1-2-3, but I don't believe it :o) I searched on Metalink, but all the articles are about Oracle 8.x and above. Anyone has an idea how to do this on Oracle 7? I read something about doing an update on SYS.PROPS$, but it did not say if this would work on 7.x
And after that an import of the previously created export-file. But I'm afraid that any special characters could be misformed or corrupt or whatever after that.

Hope you can help!
