I could understand being cautious on upgrading to a new full release but 8.1.7.2 vs 8.1.7.3 is just a patchset and patchsets are bug fixes.  Why upgrade, to hit a known bug, and have to upgrade again when the patchset is available to being with? I thank that is the question you want to consider.
