Hi Diane,

I have been lurking hoping for some further information on this subject also. I’m sorry all the other responses have (so far) been ‘do more research’ and ‘you’re way over your head’.

I am a relative newbie to Oracle, so this may be a simplistic answer (and I hope at least is correct). But, in my understanding, Oracle Web Application Server is Microsoft’s IIS based and Oracle 9i Internet Application Server is Apache based. So basically the difference is windoz vs. unix.

And I would be happy to receive more info on this subject – even if just referred to the manuals – which of the 10,000 pages to look at first?
