BLOBS sizes.

Hi all,

I was wondering what how do you calculate the column size Oracle8i (or any other version) allocates to something such as a 1MB BLOB (to add a picture)
How do I create a table with a column that takes a BLOB of 1MB? Is it just: create table... picture blob(1MB) ... ?

Any help you can give is much appreciated.
