In a LAN i have Oracle 8.1.7 Standard edition nstalled on Win2K server (IBM @serires).
There are some clients installed that use a Delphi application with BDE.
Sometimes happen that on a client appear the message:
'Not connected to Oracle', after the client works fine.
The message does appear random even when the application is
'sleeping', e.g in a menu.

On the server there are 2 NIC with load balancing. The Oracle database's logs have not any error reported. The question is: is an Oracle problem or any other bug (like a network bug) ?.

Thanks in advance.
