Hello Jim,

just analyze ALL tables with 'estimate statistics', it takes usually a few seconds per table. Analyzing only one table is not sufficient!

Could you send the statement with the hints you tried? Also, could you send the setting of db_file_multiblock_read_count?

Personally, I don't like setting OPTIMIZER_INDEX_COST_ADJ, but if it works for you, OK.
