Hello,

I hope there is someone who can help me ... suppose it's trivial, however I run out of any ideas.

I setu up new database on the notebook, withhout any network. Database works fine.

Then new user, 'oas' has been created and added to administrators group. OAS installation has been done from this user, separate home, etc.

At the end of setup, there is a possibility of defining additional listeners like 'admin' and 'www'.

Proper service entry has been created for the node manager, and it's started also from user 'oas' as service on machine boot up.

However, when connecting to node manager (http://host:8888), after authenticating myself, I found that there are no listeners under listener tree part. Well, tried to create new one - got an error OWS-05745, saying about insufficient privileges.

Once more, 'oas' is the owner of OAS installatiuon, is a member of Administrators group.

System NT 4.0, Oracle 8.1.7.0, OAS 4.0.8.2. Enterprise

Any help would be welcome.

regards

marcin

PS checked already that error on Metalink ;-))) Received on Fri Jan 04 2002 - 05:20:17 CST
