     Altopia.net, managed by ccaputo_at_alt.net , and Supernews.com, managed by jnixon_at_supernews.net and danhiel_at_supernews.net (Danhiel Baker), have decided through encouragement from certain individuals not to support the moderated version of my group on their service. After an investigation into the background of these two services and the individuals involved it is not surprising that they would take this action. You see, Altopia and Supernews are directly responsibly for a majority of the SPAM that you see in this group everyday. Also, an individual who goes by the name andrew_at_erlenstar.demon.co.uk (Andrew Gierth) a known terrorist in the usenet community. For example, he is the center of a usenet ring which claims to run a service (pgp-moose) which "protects" moderated groups from being attacked by forged articles such as the one we experienced this past week in the moderated groups. But, what they are actually focused on is a bit more covert. And, come to find out, Chris Caputo of altopia (ccaputo_at_alt.net) is also involved in this little ring of anarchist and terrorist (pgp-moose_at_ornl.govJust). But I don't want to give these characters too much credit. I suppose, it just goes to show that on the internet you don't always know who you are dealing with or what their real intentions may be.
