ORA-12203 and SQL Navigator

Hi there,

I am having a strange problem. Recently installed Oracle Reports, and after that can not connect to the database with SQL Navigator. All the rest, like SQL Plus, other Oracle stuff work fine, but this one. Receiving ORA-12203, but :

-tnsnames.ora has not be changed at all.
-ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID are correct (and all Oracle stuff works)

Anyone have any idea of what might have gone wrong ? Any registry changes ?

Oracle 8.1.6.2, NT 4.0 , SQL Navigator 3.1 (and will not be upgraded)
