Thanks guys, I didn't know there's a QUERY parameter in Oracle 8i, we are using oracle 8.1.6 on hpux 11.0, the amazing thing is when I tried the Query parameter and using the \ for " or >, but it didn't work. Error was -- LRM-00112: multiple values not allowed for parameter 'query'.
then I got rid all \ just use plain where statement, everything was OK.
