Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Client 8.1.6 on WinNT-Server?
Hello,
I have tried to install the Oracle Client 8.1.6 on Windows NT Server. The
Oracle Database Server resides on a Linux Server (TCP/IP). I need the
Client and the NT-Server for development purposes only.
Windows NT 4.0, SP 5
PROCESSOR_IDENTIFIER=x86 Family 6 Model 5 Stepping 2 GenuineIntel PROCESSOR_LEVEL=6 PROCESSOR_REVISION=0502
At end of installationprocess an error with "Net8 Configuration Assistent" happens: Error loading native library: oranjni8.dll.
I make a custom install of Net8 again, success.
If I call Net8 Assistant now, a "jrew.exe" message appears with: "kokocgettz" not found in dynamic link library "oracommon8.dll".
Same error with Net8 Configuration Assistant.
Wallet Manager comes up.
Starting "DBA Studio" or "SQLPlus Worksheet", only a Editor comes up in the taskbar with "oemapp.bat" - nothing happens.
SQLPlus (not the worksheet) can start, but not connect, because of missing configuration.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance.
