Could well be a bug... wouldn't surprise me (9iAS was initially released
*not* working with 9i database, of course!).
I was just trying to say that the fix lies in the scripts, not some (perfectly reasonable, it is true) workaround with the init.ora. Jump up and down on Oracle if needs be, by all means.
(And of course change the init.ora if time is of the essence).
