Installing Oracle 817 on Solaris 8

Can anyone help please.
Im installing Oracle 817 onto a brand new install of Solaris 8, fully patched. When I run the installer I briefly see the Installer flash screen then the whole thing aborts with the following errors. I assume this is a java problem.
